The Laser 5000 class association work hard to maintain the class and organise sailing events throughout the season. We have also built a great relationship with our main supplier sailboats.co.uk who can supply all of the spares required for our boats and there are some great deals set up with them for association members.
This hard work by the association and its committee has seen the class start to grow again with more boats participating in the Laser class open events and more boats racing in local clubs. There is a really good vibe flowing throughout the known Laser5000 owners and the enthusiasm to race these fantastic machines has been growing across the country and throughout Europe.
We have fleets sailing at both ends and sides of the UK from Plymouth to Loch Lomond and Pembroke to Broadstairs. With an estimated 200+ boats still around the dinghy parks and driveways of the UK there’s bound to be a Laser5000 sailing near you.
