I am really pleased with my new Waveloft covers. Mark from Waveloft visited and templated from GBR5248 and provided them within a few weeks. Now he has all of the Laser 5000 templates i’m sure that they can be supplied very quickly. The top cover fits over the hull only, just like a traditional dinghy cover. We reworked his existing top cover design for ease of getting it on and off while giving maximum protection. I did not want it to cover the wings which allows them to be set and left at their required positions which is not possible to do with a fully encompassing cover. To protect the tubes and pro grip from prolonged UV exposure when not in use we made up some tube wraps which are very easy to put on and peel off.

The PVC coated cordura undercover is an extremely good quality material which is much heavier and provides greater protection than many of the thinner nylon sail bag type material undercovers offered by other suppliers.

While templating Mark has measured everything about the boat so can also supply complete mast and boom bags, sail bags, padded dagger board and rudder bags, mast foot and tackle trailing bags.
